7 major international JICABLE conferences, 7 specialist workshops and
various lectures have, since 1984, contributed towards establishing
far-reaching communication on a worldwide level between research and
industry in the field of electrical power cables and associated
equipment.
In order to continue these activities and encourage the development of a
truly international network of specialists in this field, the Société de
l'Electricité, de l'Electronique et des Technologies de l'Information et de
la Communicaion has created the JICABLE Committee.
This committee's objective is, through the organisation of meetings and
publications, to train, inform, valorise and ensure the development of
science and technology in the field of insulated power cables, their
installation, operation and associated technologies.
