What is Jicable‘03 ?
JICABLE ‘03 is intended to be an international forum for the exchange of information in the fields of research, industrial development, installation and network integration relating to
insulated power cables and their accessories at all voltage levels.
Why is Jicable‘03 important?
Advances achieved in the development of more efficient new technologies in addition to pressure from environmental demands lead to a wider than ever use of insulated power cables.
JICABLE’03 will provide a platform for a close examination of the state-of-the-art and future prospects : new materials, technological advances, improvements in manufacturing procedures,
consideration of operation experience, dielectric, thermal and thermomechanical behaviour, new and original technical solutions for widescale transmission, new superconducting
materials, etc.
Who will be talking part in Jicable‘03 ?
Researchers, engineers, decision-makers, raw materials suppliers, manufacturers, installers and users will all have the opportunity to express their views and expectations through this broad
and diverse cable forum. This has already been the case at the first five JICABLE conferences held in 1984, 1987, 1991, 1995 and 1999 (with 533 delegates from 38 countries).
